This has happened more than once. I let my kids go out and play in the backyard. There is grass, slides, trikes, basketball hoops, etc. Yet, my kids end up in the corner digging in the dirt. Not sand, dirt-oh and rocks. I guess I could break down and get a sandbox. Or not.

I think Bradley would still play in the dirt and rocks even if you had a sandbox-- boys seem to be drawn to stuff like that.
